Jobyer Ahmed is a Bangladeshi-based cybersecurity expert and researcher.[1] Additionally, he is a penetration tester known for establishing Bytium, a firm that provides cybersecurity solutions to a worldwide clientele.[2] With experience spanning over a decade, Ahmed is recognized for identifying and neutralizing security risks in networks and applications. His expertise encompasses penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and ethical hacking.
As of 2023, Ahmed is the only individual in Bangladesh to have been awarded the OSCE3 Certificate by OffSec, and is also known as a penetration testing expert. He is notable for identifying and mitigating cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Additionally, Ahmed has a substantial number of certifications, including OSCP, OSED, OSWE, OSEP, Pentest+, Security+, among others.[3]

Career
From 2007 to 2014, Jobyer Ahmed served as a system administrator and technical support specialist for Windows and Linux systems. His responsibilities included software management, troubleshooting technical glitches, and ensuring system security. He began to specialize in cybersecurity in 2008 and became a dedicated cybersecurity specialist in 2014.
As a cybersecurity expert, he was involved in a plethora of contract-based projects, encompassing infrastructure penetration, vulnerability assessments, and black-box web application testing. He employed open-source tools like Kali Linux for system, web, and network penetration testing.
In January 2022, Ahmed started to focus more on Rednode Services Ltd, later it merged to Bytium, a global IT company that he had founded earlier.[6] The company offers a comprehensive suite of services aimed at protecting digital assets for an international clientele. The services provided include Technical Support, Cloud Support, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), Managed Security Services, cloud and network security, web application and system penetration testing, Infrastructure Security Testing, Secure Code Review, Red Teaming, and Social Engineering Testing. Jobyer’s team is renowned for its expertise in detecting security flaws, securing systems, and enhancing protection against cyber threats.[7]

Through Bytium, Jobyer now provides an extensive range of cybersecurity services that include vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, web application testing, and training. He holds certifications such as OSED, OSWE, OSEP, OSCP, and more. Additionally, he has undergone specialized training and holds certifications like CNVP (CompTIA Network Vulnerability Assessment), Pentest+, and Security+, with a focus on ethical hacking. In 2023, Jobyer obtained the OSCE3 certification, becoming the sole holder of this certification in Bangladesh.[8]
