Jodie Donovan is a Video Game Producer, Designer and former Project Manager[1]. In 2020, Jodie led production at BAFTA-nominated[2], Independent Game Studio, Glitchers[3] as Studio Project Manager. Jodie is currently employed by AAA game development studio, Sumo Digital. as a Producer.

Career[edit]

The first video game Jodie developed was Nestlums for Android & iOS, shortly after researching and publishing guidance on game accessibility for users with cognitive disabilities[4]. At Glitchers, Donovan primarily worked as a Project Manager, occasionally lending game design and UX expertise on the studio's other projects. Whilst at Glitchers, Jodie also worked on Drive Buy[5] and helped release a bespoke version of Sea Hero Quest for Alzheimer's Research UK[6]. Jodie left Glitchers and the independent game development scene and is currently employed by UK-based AAA game development studio, Sumo Digital. as a Producer.

Jodie is an Ambassador for Women in Games, STEM Learning and the Video Game Ambassador program[7]. Through these organizations, she volunteers her time to mentor and support young people to enter the games industry.
