Joe Christie (born June 6, 1933)[1] is an American politician. He served as a Democratic member for the 29th district of the Texas Senate.[2]
Life and career[edit]
Christie was born in Rising Star, Texas. He attended the University of Texas School of Law.[1]
Christie was an assistant county attorney.[3] In 1967, he was elected to represent the 29th district of the Texas Senate, succeeding W. E. 'Pete' Snelson. He served until 1973, when he was succeeded by H. Tati Santiesteban.[4][5]
