Joe Joseph is an Indian film actor, writer and director. Joe Joseph debuted his acting career in the Telugu feature film, Hawaa, which was released on 23 August 2019. Joe Joseph debuted in Malayalam with the lead actor role in the feature film "The Proposal" which was released on 27 May 2022. "The Proposal" which was his directorial debut released on Saina Play OTT platform.

Career

Joe Joseph worked in Australian television and film industry. He acted in Australian television commercials and worked as a model for several Australian brands. He acted in a Malayalam music video called Hope. In 2019, Joe attended an audition for the Telugu feature film, Hawaa, and director chose him to play a negative role, Harry. His Malayalam debut, The Proposal, was originally scheduled to start in Ooty in 2020. Due to Covid pandemic, the project was cancelled. Later, Joe suggested the idea of modifying the script and filming "The Proposal" in Australia. Initially, he was assigned to be only the writer of the film. After the redesigning of the project, Joe directed and played the lead character in the film along with penning the script.

Joe Joseph was born at Pala, in state of Kerala in India. He studied in Canberra, Australia.
