Joe O'Mahoney is a British academic and management consultant based in Cardiff, Wales.[1][2] He is a Full Professor in Organisation Studies, at Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University.[3]

In 2020, it was announced that Professor Joe O'Mahoney was one of the Finalists and Winners of the CMCE Consulting Research Awards.[4] His research has been published in the top journals and by Oxford University Press and Routledge.[5][6]

Education and career[edit]

In 1995, Professor O'Mahoney obtained his BA in Ancient and Modern History from the University of Oxford. Subsequently, in 1996, he obtained his MA from the University of Warwick. In 2000, he was granted a Ph.D. in Organisational Change from the University of Warwick, which was ESRC (Economic and Social Research Council) Funded.

In 1996, he joined the University of Warwick as a part-time lecturer. In 2002, he co-founded StayMobile Technology Ltd and served as a Managing Director.[7] In 2012, he became a Senior Lecturer at the Business School of Cardiff University. Currently, he is a full-time Professor in Organisation Studies at Cardiff Business School.
