Joe Occhiogrosso
Joseph Occhiogrosso a.k.a. Joe O. (born June 15, 1966) is an American entrepreneur, philanthropist, marketing professional, and author from Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
Career
Joe O. is known as one of the most successful sales professionals and entrepreneurs in the country. He attended Rutgers University where he majored in economics and philosophy, was a scholarship varsity baseball player, and also won the title of Mr. Rutgers Bodybuilding Champion in 1986. He was a member of the National Economics Honor Society Omicron Delta Epsilon. He graduated in 1987, at age 20.[citation needed]
His career began as a Wall Street FX Currency Trader at Shearson Lehman Brothers, and in 1991 he moved to take a position as chief dealer at Societe Generale Bank where he ran the Deutsche Mark trading desk.[1]
After leaving Wall Street in 1997, Joe became a pioneer in the nascent Professional Employer Organization industry and co-founded Compensation Solutions PEO, which quickly became one of the largest PEOs in the country.[2] He recently went back into the HR and Benefits industry as he just signed on as a District Sales Manager with Triton Benefits & HR Solutions based in Woodbridge, NJ. In 2003, he then started All-Pro Title Insurance Group in Morristown, NJ, with 3-time Super Bowl Champion Bart Oates, Esq. and Frank Marone, and retains the title of founder.
In 2010, Occhiogrosso joined the part-time marketing company Viridian Energy, where he quickly became the top earner and their first Diamond Ambassador bringing in as many as 250,000 customers in just 18 months.[3] Since 2011 he has participated in a series of Green Energy missions. Occhiogrosso, along with 35 other volunteers, helped in bringing power to remote villages in different parts of the world, including The Brazilian Amazon jungle, Ghana, Africa, Indonesia, Fiji and Nicaragua. He also serves on the board at St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, New Jersey chapter,[6]. He also served on the Board of the Greater Somerset County YMCA.
Joe is the author of two books, The Power of Personal Equity (2011), and A Story About I Will Never Do Network Marketing (2015).
In November 2015, Occhiogrosso shared the stage with Tony Robbins, Bob Proctor, Eric Worre, Jordan Adler, and others at Recruiting Mastery 2015, an open event of the marketing community-at-large.[citation needed]
