Jackie Baumgarten
Jackie Baumgarten (born August 4, 1978) is a Miami innovation entrepreneur and executive,[1][2] the co-founder and chief executive officer) of Boatsetter,[3] based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.[4]
Before she began her entrepreneurial career, Baumgarten worked for over a decade in corporate America in Healthcare as a Director at DaVita,[5] as a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers/IBM,[6] and as a commercial real estate developer of the Westfield Group.[7] She subsequently then a partner and COO of AH Global. In late 2012, she became co-founder and CEO of Cruzin,[8] the precursor to Boatsetter.[9] In that period , Baumgarten is acknowledged as developing the first of its kind marine insurance policy model that enabled the peer-to-peer boat rental industry.[10][11]
In 2018, she was both elected to the board of directors of MasterCraft[12] and won an entrepreneur of the year technology award from Endeavor Miami[13] and one of INC's 100 most innovative woman in 2019.[14]
