Jogender Singh Rautela is the current Mayor of [[Haldwani]. He has been Mayor of Haldwani, since last two tenure. He is an Indian Politician representing Bhartiya Janta Party.[1]

Rautela was born on 18 December, 1971. B.Sc., M.sc. (Chemistry), P.h.D Kamau University
Political career[edit]
He was the GIC president of the Students' Union at Nainital in 1989. He was the President of the Council of Chemistry from 1992 to 93 at MBPG College. in 15 years He has been a Damuwadhunga municipality member twice and once a municipality member from Ranibagh. He has been the The Deputy Leader in the Municipality remained the Councilor. He was elected as the BJYM Nainital vice-chairman, district planning committee member. He Was elected the first Municipal Corporation Board Mayor in 2013 after holding various positions in the BJP including the state executive.. He completed his 5 years Tenure[2]. After which he was re-elected[3] in the year 2018[4], and is the present Mayor of Haldwani. He believes in Democracy, hence he make sure to visit all families of the city in their grief or happy phase.
Work[edit]
He has work on beautification of parks, Amrit Yojana, Solid Waste Management Project in Haldwani. In three-three months, the corporation employees used to get their salary, got it done every month, apart from this, the government was also successful in doubling the grant of the Municipal Corporation.
