Joharul Alam is a Bangladeshi businessman, investor, Managing Director of RR Group Bangladesh and a pioneer of ship recycling business in Bangladesh. He is a notable figure in Chittagong's ship recycling business.
Johar began his professional life as an executive of Royal Ship Recycling Industry at the young age of 13 due to the sudden death of his father. The initial ship recycling process under his administration took place in Chittagong. He joined Modern Steel as a head executive in 1981. Later, he partnered and established several firms, which were subsequently integrated into RR Group. [1]
