John Butt (cricketer)

John Butt (7 May 1892 — 30 October 1966) was an English cricketer. He was a left-handed batsman who played for Sussex. He was born in Sutton and died in Kensington.

Butt made a single first-class appearance for the team, against the touring West Indians in 1923.[1] Batting in the upper-middle order, he scored two runs in the first innings and eight runs in the second.
