Mohammad Akhtar (Urdu: محمد اختر; born 12 December 1977) is a Pakistani-born British first-class cricketer. Akhtar is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm Leg break. He was born in Gujranwala, Punjab.
Akhtar represented the Essex Cricket Board and Essex 2nd eleven. He played a single List A match against Essex in the 2003 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy.[1] In his only List A match, he made a half century score of 71 runs.[2] With the ball he took 2 wickets at a bowling average of 23.00, with figures of 2/46.[3]
