John Darnell is a pop Alternative artist who currently lives in Louisville Kentucky. John grew up playing he drums and then soon moved on to play the guitar and eventually bass and Piano. John started composing at a young age and now has risen to share the stage with some of the greatest Performing Artists of the region. He has spent 9 years behind the bass guitar with the Porkpie James Band in Louisville playing at Stevie Rays and other Festivals and venues throughout the Derby City. . His breakout moment was playing his original music in Chicago, Louisville, St. Louis and Kansas City. John has spent the last 4 years with Quanta Records in Chicago filling large crowds in the Roots Room and The Elbo Room [1], The Mutiny, Lincoln Park, Docktoberfest (Below the Willis Tower in Chicago), Loafers, The HorseShoe (Chicago), along with many other Venues including Saints / Skybar, and Commonwealth Tap in Louisville, and the Phoenix Lounge Jazz Club and The Tank Room in Kansas City. In 2012 John completed a tour in St Louis Missouri which included The Venice Cafe, The Ritz Carlton, The Wolf Public House, The Luna Lounge, The Crown Plaza, Foam, and many other St Louis Venues including Picasso's in St Charles.
