John Ducas (born January 13, 1998) is an investor and entrepreneur who came to prominence as a teenager.

Ducas is from New York City but lives in Europe with his family. At the age of 9 he started investing with play money at MarketWatch. When he was 13 his parents gave him 3,000 euros to invest, and he opened a trading account with an online broker.[1][2] At age 15, he founded Ducas Capital, which publishes financial research online.[3] According to Forbes magazine, he serves over 110 clients.[2]

He is a member of a global community of young investors and entrepreneurs and the creator of an online stock market instruction course called Stock Market Investing for Beginners, with over 150,000 enrolled students.[4][5]

Recognition[edit]

Ducas was the youngest person on Business Insider's list of the most powerful people in finance at every age.[6] He is one of the youngest contributors to The Huffington Post.[7]
