John Ford (cricketer)
John Ford (born 5 March 1934) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and right-arm fast bowler who played for Gloucestershire. He was born in Redland.
Ford attended Cotham Grammar School. While still at school, he made his only first-class appearance for Gloucestershire as a 17-year-old against Hampshire, in the County Championship during the 1951 season.[1] Opening the bowling, he took 1 wicket for 44 runs from 14 overs.[2] Ford made many appearances for Gloucestershire second XI between 1951 and 1956,[3] but did not appear for the first XI again.
