John Harland Swenson (January 26, 1913 in Kandiyohi County – June 21, 2002 in Sundance) was an American Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army during World War II. He also received the Distinguished Service Cross for distinguished service by extraordinary heroism against an armed enemy in circumstances not justifying the Medal of Honor. He retired as Colonel.
