John T Kiramis (born January 19, 1952) is a retired American[1][2] politician[3], ex-mayor,[4][5] police lieutenant[6],detective sergeant of Foster City, San

Francisco, California. and raised in a part of the city called Glen Park after retiring as mayor[7] he wrote a book about mayor of San Francisco.[8]

Early Life

Kiramis was born on January 19, 1952, he grew up in Glen Park. Kiramis graduated from Balboa High School in the year 1968,[9] and was named in the Hall of Merit as of October 24, 2009.[10] He completed his university degree from University of San Francisco in 1973.[11]

Career

Kiramis is a former police lieutenant[12][13] and detective[14] sergeant who served in law enforcement[12] for thirty-two years.[6] he was a reserve officer, then he became a communications officer in 1974[15] he also worked with FBI on a case[16]. Upon retirement from the force, retiring as a police lieutenant in 2004[7], Kiramis took retirement from ESTRO Municipal Improvement District in the year 2004 after serving them for almost 22 years.[17] Kiramis won a seat on the city council[18][19][20] in 2005[21] and became a councilman.[22][23][24]
