John Melmer
John Melmer, previous publisher of The New Age Dawn and The Last Frontier, was born in London, Ontario, Canada, on May 13, 1949. Mr. Melmer enjoyed a brief amateur theatrical career in Canada, and later had a bit part in Strange Paradise, a Canadian occult-supernatural soap opera, both on stage and on television. He became an investigative reporter for The Georgia Strait, an alternative culture newspaper based in Vancouver, B.C., and later wrote human interest articles for The Vancouver Sun and The Montreal Star, two Canadian newspapers. He later became a freelance broadcaster for the Canadian Broadcasting Network.
Journeying to Santa Cruz, California, in the late 1970s, he met and wrote about THE FAMILY OF MANKIND, a small group of hardy souls studying THE PADGETT MESSAGES and living together as one family. Mr. Melmer returned to Canada briefly, living off the coast of BRITISH COLUMBIA on DENMAN AND SALTSPRING ISLANDS. There, he had a son, AARON ANDREW, born on August 23, 1980. Mr. Melmer then travelled throughout the United States, with stops in EUGENE, OREGON, SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA, and SAN DIEGO. In San Diego, he had a daughter, ANGE AIMEE MELMER, born on April 18, 1991.
Further travels followed to Salt Lake City, Utah; Atlanta, GA; St. Petersburg, Florida; and Arlington, Texas. It was during this period Mr. Melmer published three spiritual works entitled The True Gospel of Christ, The True Nature of God and Life in the Spirit World; all of these publications can be found on amazon.com. He then spent three months travelling in Ghana. He currently resides in Charleston, S.C., where he is working on a fourth book on mental illness and its relation to child abuse.
