Olivia Susanna Margaret Hahn (born December 29, 2006) is a Canadian author, artist, and advocate for grief awareness, known for her writing on grief and loss.[1][2]
Early life and education
Hahn was born on December 29, 2006, in Victoria, British Columbia. She attended Reynolds Secondary School, where she became passionate about writing, music, and storytelling. She graduated from high school.[3]
Career
Writing career
Hahn began writing at a young age, using her experiences with grief to help others. Her first book, *Healing Our Wounded Hearts*, was written as a way to process the pain of losing her mother.[3][4] The book explores themes of loss, healing, and resilience and was followed by *To Hold Your Hand One More Time* and *Through the Mirror: A Stranger I See*.[5][6]
Music career
Hahn is also pursuing a career in music. Her upcoming single, *Lust Over Love*, is set to be released soon. The song is described as an anthem for women, addressing the emotional impact of being objectified and advocating for women to be seen and loved for who they are. The single blends blues, soul, and pop elements.[2] Hahn has performed two covers, one by Z.Z. Ward called "Cannonball" and the other by Anthony Hamilton called "Freedom." She performed with Mister Isaac C. Gargantua.[7][8]
Community involvement
Hahn has been actively involved in grief advocacy and youth empowerment, for which she has received several awards, including the Saanich Arts Culture and Heritage Awards and the Principal's Perseverance Award.[1][7][9]
