John Paul Turville is a jazz pianist and composer from Nottingham, UK and studied in Cambridge and London.
Biography[edit]
Turville read music at the University of Cambridge, and then studied at Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Pete Churchill.
He has performed and recorded with Gilad Atzmon, Tim Garland, Guillermo Rozenthuler and Tim Whitehead. In 2012 Turville was awarded MOJO's #3 Jazz Album of the Year, and in 2011 won Best Album in the Parliamentary Jazz Awards 2011. [1]
He currently teaches at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
