John Wedgwood (1721–67)

John Wedgwood (1721–1767) was an English merchant.

He was the son of the potter Thomas Wedgwood III and his wife Mary. He made a considerable fortune as a merchant of Cateaton Street, London, before becoming his younger brother Josiah Wedgwood's London agent for the Wedgwood pottery firm.

In 1767 he was robbed and murdered in London, and his body dumped in the River Thames. He was unmarried and had no children.
