John penhollow
John Penhollow is an American sports executive and the current President of Business Operations for the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League (NHL). He also oversees the business operations for several other entities under the Foley Entertainment Group, including the Henderson Silver Knights, Vegas Knight Hawks, City National Arena, America First Center, and Lee’s Family Forum.
Career
Before joining the Vegas Golden Knights in June 2025, Penhollow spent over two decades in leadership roles across multiple professional sports organizations:
- Minnesota Vikings (NFL) – Executive Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer, where he led ticketing, partnerships, and revenue strategy. He played a key role in the opening of U.S. Bank Stadium and the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center.
- Cleveland Browns (NFL) – Vice President of Corporate Sales & Service.
- New York Yankees (MLB) – Director of Corporate Sales & Sponsorships, contributing to corporate planning for the new Yankee Stadium and the team’s 2009 World Series championship.
- Miami Dolphins (NFL) – Manager of Marketing Partnerships.
Education
Penhollow earned his Master’s degree in Sports Administration from Canisius University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kent State University.
Personal life
Penhollow has coached youth hockey and served on the board of the Boys & Girls Club of the Twin Cities. He is known for his commitment to community engagement, youth sports, and honoring military and first responders.
