Johnathan S. Simon (Hebrew: יהונתן סימון born June 9, 1996) is an entrepreneur, computer scientist, long jumper[1] and a Google Hall of Famer,[2][not in citation given] best known for his notable discoveries of security vulnerabilities and his dedication for keeping the internet a safer place. He has been recognized by Google,[3][self-published source] eBay[4], Red Hat[5], Adobe[6], Mozilla[7], Oracle[8] and many others. In 2018 he was nominated for Forbes 30 Under 30.[9][not in citation given]

Career[edit]

Starting from a young age he became passionate regarding computer science and even more specifically on information security and artificial intelligence.[10]

At the age of 7 he already managed his own website.[11]

At age of 16, Johnathan has already discovered security vulnerabilities within the Fortune 500 including Google, Apple and Amazon. Due to his discoveries at such young age, he attended to Stanford University for an AI program as part of the Education Program for Gifted Youth[12] and became a Google's Hall of Famer.[13][2][not in citation given]

He co-founded Sophistisoft - A runner-up winner at the Israeli's national startup competition out of 600 startups.[14][15]

Johnathan served in the Unit 8200.[citation needed]

According to the Israeli Athletic Association During 2011, Johnathan won third place at the Israel's national long jump competition up to the age of 15.[16][dead link][17][dead link]

During his freshmen year, after winning first place in triple jump and second place in long jump at local meetings, Johnathan's became a varsity team member prior to his junior year.[18]

He also won third place as part of TAPPS Track and Field Championships in long jump[19].

Johnathan won second place in Israel's national long jump competition for high schools.
