Johnny in the Middle of the Park

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

"Johnny in the Middle of the Park" is a 1983 rock song by Italian musician Piero Cotto.[1] It was an example of lostwave under the name "Johnny" or "The Grass is Green" after it was used as the credits theme for an episode of the Italian sports programme La Domenica Sportiva. The search gained attention after a sample of the song was uploaded to WatZatSong on December 15, 2020.[2]

On March 15, 2024, Cotto and his son Samuel confirmed that he was the artist behind the song, which was officially titled "Johnny in the Middle of the Park", and that it was released in 1983, with his wife providing backup vocals.
