Jonas Altman (born April 6, 1976) is a Canadian/British entrepreneur and writer.

Altman is a partner at the firm Social Fabric[1] where he leads on the design of new ventures and partners with senior teams worldwide to help transform their businesses. He’s worked with Google, Sony Music, Tate The BBC and The Guardian.[2]

Altman writes about design, education, innovation and the future of work.[3] His principle area of focus is on exploring new ways of organising and how teams and companies can better adapt to the modern world. Jonas is currently writing his second book about the future of work.

As an international conference speaker Altman has given talks at Microsoft Ventures and Google and most recently for The Royal College of Art and Canada Council for the Arts.[citation needed] In 2011 Altman was awarded funding from UnLtd for his research on new and better ways of working while advancing the causes of multiple social ventures. He is a member of the Higher Education Academy and a fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.

Altman is a collaborator at Hyper Island, an instructor at General Assembly [4] and a member of Faculty as part of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Group at the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business.[5]
