Jonathan Henly (born 7 June 1994) is an Scottish professional footballer who currently plays as a goalkeeper for Ipswich Town in the Football League Championship.

Career[edit]

Henly started his career as a youth at Reading before progressing into their professional team. He spent the majority of his time there on loan at Aldershot Town, Oxford United and National League side Welling United.[2]

In 2015, after three years with the club, Henly was released by Reading and subsequently signed for Football League Championship side Ipswich Town under the management of Mick McCarthy.[3]

International Career[edit]

Although born in Woking in west Surrey, Henly represents Scotland at international level, being eligible due to his Scottish-born mother. He has represented Scotland twice at youth level in under-19 and under-21 respectively.
