Jonathan Reed Tucker
Jonathan Reed Tucker, known professionally as Reed Tucker is an American author, journalist, radio producer and host, mostly known for his work on The Lazlow Show.[1][not in citation given]
Career
He and Lazlow Jones appeared on The Lazlow Show along with "Big" Wayne Oliver from 2005–2014 on K-Rock and later Saturday Night Virus until Oliver’s death as the result of a heart attack in November 2014. Jones and Tucker returned for a memorial episode on 22 June 2015 then the show went on hiatus.[2]
Tucker provided the voice of a fictionalised version of himself in the video game franchise Grand Theft Auto, appearing in 3 titles, GTA III in 2001[3], GTA: San Andreas in 2004 [4] and GTA V in 2013.[5]
He now works as a freelance writer and has written articles for The New York Times, USA Today and Esquire. He also hosts a podcast about UNC Basketball.[6]
He has written two books, *Duke Sucks: A Completely Evenhanded, Unbiased Investigation Into the Most Evil Team on Planet Earth*, co-written with Andy Bagwell, published in 2012 [7] and *Slugfest: Inside the Epic, 50-Year Battle Between Marvel and DC*, published in 2017.[8]
He has a degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.[9]
Personal life
His brother is Bryan Tucker, co-head writer at Saturday Night Live.[10] He also has a sister named Meggie.
