Jorge Leguizamo (1931-2016) - Contemporary Artist

Mexican Contemporary artist (1931-2016). Studied at the Academia de San Carlos, UNAM, Mexico City. Inspired by the Dutch school techniques involving light and shade and vibrant colors. Collectors include Mexican and American politicians, actors, and Time Magazine. Work featured in private collections across the United States, Europe, and Mexico. Winner of the "Juarez En El Arte" 1972 Art Contest featuring the Best Mexican Artists of the time. Work first seen at auction at Waddington's in 2016.
