Jorge Luis Diaz Granados Lugo [1] (born June 7, 1990), better known as J.L. Diazgranados, is a Colombian writer, author, poet, artist, voice actor [2] [3] [4], Videogame developer, musician and composer. [5]
Early life[edit]
He was born on July 7, 1990 in Santa Marta Colombia, in a common working family, is the third child of four brothers. His parents are Fernando Emilio Diaz Granados Yepez and Emelina Esther Lugo Barros.
And his first as a poet began when he recited poems for special or commemorative events at the Liceo Celedón District Educational Institution in his hometown. Interested in prose and poetry, he developed his style and first texts, drafts in his notebooks in the classroom where he shared with his classmates and teachers his writings or poems becoming known as "The Poet".
Education[edit]
J.L. Diazgranados studied and graduated from academic high school at the District Educational Institution Liceo Celedón of his hometown, later course the Technological Career in Video Game Development in the National Learning Service SENA at the beginning of 2011, there he stood out in various artistic areas and represented the SENA institution in the Tecnobot 2012 event where he ranked first. Voice acting career[edit]
For the year of 2014 J.L. Diazgranados participates as a dubbing actor (voice) in the short film CONTROL Z, made by the University of Magdalena, the San Juan Nepomuceno Cultural Center, and the Fund for Cinematographic Development - Fdc. And he plays the character "The Man in White Gloves", antagonist of the story. The Short Film was awarded as best national short film at the International Festival of Human Rights, 2015. Winner for best animation, Chip Dorado, La cinemateca del caribe, 2014. And he obtained international recognitions, Winner special mention for best graduation short, Expotoons, Buenos Aires, 2015. And Winner Best Student Animated Short Film, La Truca International Festival, 2015. [2] [3] [8] [4] [9]
Career[edit]
During and while J.L. Diazgranados studied as an academic bachelor, Technological and began his career as a voice actor in the middle. He was developing and improving his own style that led him to publish his first books on the market. Due to his military service in his country, his career is abruptly interrupted, and by 2018 he was interviewed by the Television Network Canal Campotv (PCT LAS NOTICIAS) [10], where he makes public complaints about violations of his human rights, by the Colombian National Army, being an active soldier and still not retiring with health problems. Since then he continues in the middle of writing and the arts, and begins his career as a musician and composer. [11] [12] [13]
