Josef Styr (3 March 1920 – 30 June 1984) was a Hauptscharführer in the Waffen SS during World War II who was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. This award recognized extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership by Nazi Germany during World War II.
Hauptscharführer Josef Styr received the Knight's Cross on 5 April 1945, while serving as a platoon commander in the 10th Company, 9th SS Panzer Grenadier Regiment Germania, of the 5th SS Panzer Division Wiking.
