He was born in Rubavu to a happy family of a soldier and a businesswoman. He has directed many Music Videos and Movies but at first, this wasn't his dream.
He started his primary school at Kimironko2 and studied his Ordinary level there until he won a national exam and was oriented to another school. He completed his high school at Collegio Santo Antonio Maria Zaccaria in Gicumbi District.

Early life
Joseph Ezer was born on January 3, 2002, in Gisenyi, Rubavu, to Nikuze Beatrice (née Rivers) and Niyongabo Elie. He was the fourth of four children, who were in birth order: Shamimu, Shadia, Rebecca, J. Ezer, (all of the four children had the family name of Niyongabo). His father was a soldier in the Rwanda Army Inkotanyi and his mother was a businesswoman. As life changed, he ended up growing in the new family of his father's sister Ndayisenga Costance, where he got the two names which are Joseph Ezer. After watching Lee Min-ho's movies, he started getting into entertainment, that’s how he ended up being a fashion model and actor. He had a dream of making money and helping the needy as his name says. During his high school, he started liking things about video, which finally became his path as a Music Video Director and Filmmaker.
