Apostle Joseph Ziba (popularly known locally as "Pastor Ziba" ) (born 24th February 1974) is the Founder and President of Fountain of Victory International Ministries [1] and Illumination Assembly Church[2] whose headquarters is in Blantyre, Malawi.
Ministry
Joseph[3] was called by God to ministry while he was young. He resisted the Call of God on his life for a time because to him, he thought God had come at a wrong time because he was young. He thought to be a preacher was something for aged people or some people who have nothing to do in life. God pressed it hard on his life that he couldn't resist anymore and he gave in to the Call.
In 1996, he formed a Christian fellowship movement which was known as "Young Believers". Later on as the ministry was growing, the leadership discerned that God was taking the movement into a different dimension of spiritual growth that would be the foundation of hope to believers of all age-groups, not only youths, and hence the fellowship was renamed as Fountain of Victory Outreach Ministry.
Fountain of Victory International Ministries[4] is a platform he uses to reach out and touch souls through the conferences they conduct under the name "Heaven is Here". These conferences are organised in all regions in Malawi and the meetings have been taken outside Malawi, to South Africa, Philippines, USA, UK, and other countries.
Illumination Assembly (A Pillar and Ground of Truth[5]) is the church he founded as a sheepfold, which was started in October 2012 after seeing that there was a need to offer some services to some people who were just attached to Fountain of Victory International Ministries and had nowhere to sit and to get some services, and also he saw the need of building sons.
Personal Life
Joseph Ziba is married to Priscilla and they have a daughter, Vitu. In his free time, he plays chess and table tennis besides interacting with people.
