Josh Rimer (born June 26, 1977 in Canada) is a TV personality, comedian and a Canadian YouTuber, who was titled Mr. Gay Canada. He represented Canada in Mr Gay World 2019 held in Cape Town, South Africa.[1][2]Each year the gay community chooses an inspiring and confident candidate to be Mr. Gay Canada to compete in Mr. Gay World.

Early Life[edit]

Josh Rimer was born in Lethbridge and lived in Red Deer from the ages of 2 until 18. At the age of 18, he moved out to Vancouver.[3] Jointly with his brother Andy Rimer, he started Brothers TV, a comedy variety television series originally broadcast on Access in 2004 and then OUTtv in 2005.

Rimer visits gay-friendly destinations all over North America[4][5]and creates content for the national Canadian LGBT TV station, OUTtv[6]. He works as a volunteer and fundraiser for HIV and LGBT organizations including charities like the Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation, A Loving Spoonful, AIDS Vancouver, the LOUD Foundation and Foundation of Hope.[7][8][9]
