Nordan Shat (born May 29, 1996) is an Canadian YouTube personality, also known by his YouTube channel username of FaZe Rain, whose channel primarily consists of videos of him doing live commentaries in Call of Duty. His channel is currently the 405th most subscribed on YouTube.[2] Shat also has a second channel, Nordan Shat, where he uploads video logs daily. Combined with both of his channels, he has a total of 4.3 million subscribers.
Career[edit]
Shat started off his career on YouTube in late 2010, but quickly deleted his videos as his channel began to grow.[3] In 2011 he started off his channel with uploading sniper montages (a sniper montage is a video where a player has gathered footage of video gameplay and then uploaded it to YouTube). In 2012, Shat got his chance when he finally could apply for FaZe Clan. By late 2012, he was contacted by the FaZe Clan leader to join the clan and to prepare an introduction video on the clan's YouTube channel.[4] FaZe Clan, is an e-Sports organization owned by FaZe Temperrr. FaZe Clan is sponsored by the gaming controller brand Scuf Gaming and by an energy drink brand known as G-Fuel.[5]
