Josh Scheidler is an American pastor based in Redmond, Oregon. He leads Ignite Faith Church and is a prominent local figure for Nondenominational Christianity in the Redmond area.[1]
Early Life and Education
Josh Scheidler was born to Steve & Becky Scheidler in Portland, Oregon, who also served as Pastors for various churches such as Mannahouse Church and currently serve as Pastors for Ignite Faith Church.[2]
He graduated from Mannahouse Christian Academy, a private high school in the city of Portland, Oregon. After high school, he got an Associate of Arts degree in theology from Portland Bible College and a Master of Arts from George Fox University in Divinity/Ministry.[2]
Career
Josh Scheidler was ordained through Portland Bible College and George Fox's Portland Seminary. In 2016, he became the head pastor of Ignite Faith Church. The church grew under his and his wife's leadership and became a prominent local church within Redmond, Oregon.[2]
In 2023, Josh Scheidler revealed his support for Israel throughout the Israel-Palestine conflict. His church has worship, men's, women's, prayer, and youth ministries.[3]
Personal life
On July 3, 2004, Josh married Bernice, who would become the co-pastor of Ignite Faith Church. He says that his biggest passion is being with people and leading them into a deeper relationship with the Lord.[4]
