Joshua Farquhar is an Australian business leader and investor.[1][2]

Corporate dealings

Farquhar is attributed with uncovering substantial fraud and mismanagement involving Australian and international companies in the mining and resources sector.[3][4][5]

Farquhar gained significant public attention from his actions involving Condor Blanco Mines Limited – a global mining company listed on the ASX. In a successful shareholder requisition action that culminated on 5 July 2016, Farquhar led a group of investors to remove and replace Condor Blanco's entire board of directors and key senior management.[6] After suspending the company's operations and conducting an extensive forensic review of the company's historical transactions and arrangements, Farquhar turned the company's attention to recovery of damages from various parties via litigation and other means.[7][8][9][10][11][12]
