Joshua Rubin
Joshua Rubin is an American screenplay and video game writer, best known for his work in Assassin's Creed 2 and Outriders.
Career[edit]
After starting out working on screenplays, Rubin moved into writing for videogames with his work on Assassin's Creed 2, which was nominated for Best Video Game Writing by the WGA,[1] AIAS and BAFTA.[2] Shortly afterwards, he joined the narrative team at Bungie and contributed work to the space looter-shooter Destiny.
After leaving Bungie, Rubin moved into branching narrative games, joining Telltale Games as a writer and working on numerous games including Telltale's "Game of Thrones".[3] He then went on to work on multiple VR and interactive titles, including Groundhog Day: Like Father Like Son.[4]
Rubin has also founded the interactive narrative consulting firm Subverse,[5] and most recently, was lead writer on the sci-fi shooter Outriders by People Can Fly.[6]
