The Journal of Knowledge Structures & Systems aims to be a quarterly open access, peer-reviewed scientific journal covering subjects ranging across a number of knowledge-related fields and subjects, including knowledge representation and reasoning, knowledge engineering, knowledge management, and epistemology. Its mission is to provide a single platform to bring together the diverse knowledge communities. Besides the core publications constituted by scientific and technical papers, this journal also wants to start a discussion on a wide range of topics from the ethics of knowledge to the Age of Knowledge. For these later objectives, two special (bi-annual) issues are expected: the JKSS Knowledge Practices Series [1] and the JKSS Big Questions Series.[2] This journal was recently founded by Luis M. Augusto, who is also the editor-in-chief, and the inaugural issue is expected to be online in early December 2020.
