Judith Allen Heard is a Ugandan fashion model, fashionista, event host[1][2][3]. In September 2020, Judith was invited to represent Uganda in the Miss Elite 2020 in Egypt[4][5].
Background and education
She was born in 1986 in Gulu, Uganda to John Musana (Rwandan father) and Olive Bitature (Ugandan mother).[6] Judith studied at Kampala Parents Primary School, Kigali Parents School,[7] Fawe Girls Secondary School and later Ndera Secondary School in Kigali, Rwanda.[2][8]
Career
In 2002, Judith moved to Uganda to work with Sylvia Owori’s modelling company [3] and became the face of African Woman Magazine[2]. She has graced runways such as New York Fashion Week,[9][10][11] Paris Fashion Week,[12][13] Rwanda Collective Fashion Week,[14][9], Abryanz Fashion Style and Fashion Awards[15]. In September 2020, Judith Heard was invited to represent Uganda in Miss Elite Competitions 2020 in Egypt[5][16].
Personal Life
Judith lost her father when she was 3 years old[17]. She is a mother to twins Branda Jolie Heard and Briana Belly Heard.[18]
Other considerations
In February 2019, Judith launched Day One Global[19], an advocacy organisation that seeks to curb sexual harassment and rape among women[20]. She also works with Sanyu Babies Home in Kampala[21][8][22].
