Over the course of her career, Wilson was a member of multiple advisory and editorial boards for publications related to art. She also gave several presentations at conferences, which were later published.[1]
In 1988, Wilson began a teaching career that took her from Syracuse University, to the University of Virginia, to the University of California Irvine, where she retired in 2006.[3]
