Jujhautiya Brahmin

The Jijhotia Brahman(also spelled Jijhautia) are Yajur Vedik Brahmin community, found in the Chambal and Yamuna river valleys in the north, and Tamas river east & the Narmada valley in the south. These Jijhautia Brahmins Mool are even present among Bhumihar Brahmin in Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh. Swami Sahajanand Saraswati also belongs to this mool, a Bhumihar Brahmin by Birth. [1]
