Julian R. Decker (born October 10, 1991) is an American actor, singer, theatre director and performance/career coach from Erie, Pennsylvania.

He is known for his performances as Quasimodo in the stage musical version of Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame, as an understudy for the role in the 2014 La Jolla Playhouse and Paper Mill Playhouse productions and playing the role principally in the 2016 Tuacahn Center for the Arts production.

Life and career[edit]

Decker grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania, where he got his start at Erie Playhouse, performing in many productions there. In 2014, he earned his BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Cincinnati – College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), after which he performed in various productions of musicals at The MUNY. In December 2020, Decker organized and co-produced the virtual charity concert I Miss The Music: Broadway Salutes the Erie Playhouse, in which the donations collected went directly to the titular theater, which was struggling at the time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1]
