Anne Julie Lemieux (born February 19, 1988), known professionally as Juliane, is a Canadian singer and songwriter.
Career
Juliane started her career as Anjulie in 2008, after being asked to perform for AKON at the initial launch for Hitlab. Akon’s quote after her performance was simple, “I honestly never thought that big voice could come out of that little body.” [1]
Using this experience as a catapult, she went on to perform her songs in her local town and in New York City. She released her first single, Look At My Baby, and her first EP in 2015, independently, as Juliane.[2] [3] She collaborated with Pop producer Zachary “Soké” Raymond, member of the group Banx & Ranx (Olly Murs, Sean Paul, Taio Cruz, Ella Eyre) and Albert Chambers (Juno nominated songwriter-producer).
In 2018, her music can be heard in promotional campaigns for the Canadian fashion brand Dynamite, in the TV Movie Mean Queen [4], and in renowned YouTube beauty moguls Desi Perkins and Dulce Candy Vlogs.
