June 2017 Newcastle attack

On 25 June 2017, a 42-year-old woman was arrested after she rammed her car into pedestrians on Westgate Road, Newcastle, United Kingdom. It was believed that the woman crashed into people celebrating Eid to mark the end of Ramadan. However, it was confirmed that the attack was not linked to terrorism.
