Jung Ye-rin (born August 19, 1996), better known by her stage name Yerin, is a South Korean singer. In addition to being the lead dancer of the girl group GFriend, she is also an actress and an MC.
Early life[edit]
Yerin was born on August 19, 1996, in Incheon.[1] She attended the School of Performing Arts Seoul, graduating in 2015.[2]
Career[edit]
Yerin debuted in January 2015 as a member of girl group GFriend with the extended album (EP) Season of Glass.[3] She made her acting debut two months later playing a supporting role in the web drama Midnight's Girl.[4]
On October 17, 2016, she featured the song "Future Boyfriend" with El Camino.[5]
In 2017, Yerin collaborated with Cao Lu and Kisum on the single "Spring Again".[6] Later that year, she participated in SBS's reality-documentary show Law of the Jungle, featuring in the episodes in Komodo.[7]
