Justin Wetherill is co-founder,[1] CEO and president of uBreakiFix, a technology repair company based in Orlando, Florida. He was recognized in the Orlando Business Journal’s CEO of the year awards in 2014.[2]

Career[edit]

Wetherill graduated from the University of Central Florida.[3] He has helped to build a business in repairing and refurbishing phones for customers as an alternative to upgrading.[4]

In 2009, Wetherill founded uBreakiFix with David Reiff after Wetherill broke his phone.[2] He bought a few phones on eBay to learn to repair them. At the time he worked as a database designer and fixed phones at Panera Bread on his lunch break.[5] uBreakiFix began as an online repair company Wetherill ran out of his bedroom.[2] The company became a franchise with Wetherill as CEO[6] without taking on any debt and now has 203 employees.[3]
