Michael Frederick Marcotte aka Mike Marcotte (born February 10, 1971) is an American businessman and technology executive.[1]

Education and career

Marcotte completed high school at the Logan School for Creative Learning at the age of 14 and went to Bard College.[2]

Marcotte was the Chairman of the Board of the Colorado Technology Association in 2016[3] and the Chairman & CEO of Acumen Digital and cybersecurity company Praelium Systems.[4] He was also the Global Chief Information Officer of EchoStar Corporation (a.k.a. Dish Network).[5]

Marcotte is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Cybersecurity Center (NCC).[6][7] and the Board Member of the Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT).[8][9]

Awards

  • He was named in the Denver Business Journal's 2010 edition of the 40 Under Forty list.[5]
  • Two-time winner of NASA's engineering excellence award.[2][10]
  • The United States Air Force (USAF) engineering award.[2][10]
