K. A. Siddique Hassan (born 5 May 1945) is an Islamic Scholar from Kerala, India. He is the chief architect of Vision 2016[1] and Assistant Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind.[2]
Hassan worked as a Professor in various colleges in the state including University College Thiruvananthapuram & Maharaja's College, Ernakulam.[3] He served as the President of Jamaat-e-Islami, Kerala, from 1990 to 2005. Presently he is the National Vice president of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind. He was the entrepreneur of Madhyamam Daily (& Weekly), now one of the leading newspapers in the State of Kerala and the first Indian newspaper to publish from seven nations.[4]
