K. R. MIDHUN
K.R. Midhun (born 3 October 1989) is an Indian film editor, filmmaker who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema.

Early Life and Education[edit]
Midhun was born on 3 October 1989 in Vallathol Nagar, Thrisshur, Kerala, to Mr. K.N. Radhakrishnan (Retd. Junior Engineer, BSNL) and Mrs. M.K Vinodini (Retd Head Mistress). He has a sister, Maneesha.
He pursued his school studies from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ottapalam and college studies, BTech in Electronics and Communication from Nehru Group of Institutions, Kerala.
He has done graduation from Bharathiar University in BSc, Visual Communication and has also successfully completed DFTech in Film Editing and Sound Design from LV Prasad Film and Television Academy, Chennai as a Gold Medal Winner.
Career[edit]
He started working as a television editor in 2012. He subsequently progressed to editing documentaries, short films, advertisments and entered the film industry as associate editor to Mahesh Narayanan and veteran editor B.Lenin.
His first film as Independent Editor is Marupdi which released in the year 2016 directed by V.M.Vinu. A few of his most popular films as an editor includes Poomaram,[1][2] The Kungfu Master.[3]
After establishing himself as a successful editor, Midhun ventured into producing and directing shortfilms as well. In 2019 he started KR7 Studios and produced shortfilm named Mi Amor and followed by Cuckoo in 2020, both which opened to rave reviews and was featured in various shortfilm festivals. In 2021 he progressed into filmmaking directing Pampadi Paalam Padmini Kaandam,[4] shortfilm released through various OTT Platforms and recieved positive response.
