Dr. K V Satish is the founder and the Chairman of DS-MAX Properties. Being one of the first generation entrepreneurs, he went ahead in creating a business conglomerate through his holistic approach and futuristic thought process. The group operates in the areas of Real Estate, Mining, Agriculture, Trading and Export.
DS-MAX Properties, founded in 2007, has completed more than 100 projects with over 40 ongoing projects, homing thousands of happy families with projects in Bangalore, Mysuru, Hosur, Visakhapatnam, Chennai, and Hyderabad. In a little over a decade, his company attained astounding heights, and today, it employs more than 500 professionals with a net worth of over Rs. 2000 crores. Dr. Satish is a visionary who ardently wants to solve the housing problems of India, especially in urban India, with a vision of luxury housing for all.
Early Life & Career[edit]
Hailing from a middle-class family of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. K.V. Satish had a wish of contributing to the living conditions especially of the urban population by improving their quality of life which begins from home, primarily because of his background and the problems he faced in his childhood[1]. His father was in the Indian Navy and wanted him to join the Navy too. But he had a burning desire to make a difference through his work and contribution to society. After completing his studies, he tried many chores of livelihood and started importing books and promoting good books in their potential market.
Eventually meandering through his life’s struggles, he founded a real estate business in 2007, after which a great recession struck the world. As they say, when going gets tough, the tough gets going, his business acumen and dauntless spirit to make his vision successful along with perseverance, made the organization sail through with flying colours even in the tough times.
Looking at the problems of the real estate industry and the gap between the supply of homes and their demand, he felt the dire need for a viable solution in a particular target segment. He saw himself inching towards his dream and vision when the first residential project was built at RT Nagar. The second project was also built at R T Nagar, looking at the demand of the area followed by four projects in 2008.
Under his able leadership, the company went on developing aggressively as it attempted to solve the housing problems of the fast-growing cities like Bangalore, Mysore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Vizag. Although the market conditions worsened after a year of the incorporation of his company, nothing could stop the progress of it because of the pricing of the homes and the amenities provided along with the impeccable quality delivered within timelines.
From early childhood, movies inspired him and he had a knack to create good movies to motivate and guide the young generation. This made him enact in films too and his debut was in a Telugu movie, Yamaleela 2[2] [3] [4]. Time was becoming a constraint and as the real estate business demanded more time and attention, he eventually concentrated more on the real estate company he founded, as he felt that was his priority.
Even today he attempts to encourage the achievers of the movie industry and the actors as he initiated the Kalashree Award [5] distributed by his organization to talented movie personalities, actors[6], and workers. Although he tried many avocations, like many of us, and he was successful as well, but building homes have been his passion and till date, he has built several thousands of homes changing the quality of lives of teeming thousands.

Satish has been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades for his achievement in the real estate industry Young Achiever Award in 2015[7][8] by Mr.Anuj Puri the Head of Global Real Estate Firm JLL event organized by ABP News national Channel[9] in the year 2015 for his contribution in the field of Real Estate.[10] [11] and Young Leader of the Year, Most Enterprising CEO of the Year 2019 by CNN are just a few to name.The Forbes India Magazine also mentioned him as one of the Globally Recognized Indian Business Leaders.[12]
