On October 29, 2021, KYJJ went on the air as a brand-new license won months earlier as part of the FCC's Auction 109, simulcasting KYOZ.[2]
On March 18, 2022, Xana Oregon announced it would sell the station and sister station KZJJ 104.5 Mesa (which had yet to sign on) to Noemy Rodriguez's Alcon Media for $600,000.
On April 8, 2022, Xana Oregon announced it would sell KYOZ to 247 Media Ministries and it would join its "Worship 24/7" network.[3] The sale, at a price of $225,000, was consummated on July 18, 2022. Around this time, KYOZ broke off from the simulcast and flipped to the "Worship 24/7" network while KYJJ continued to broadcast a Regional Mexican format as "Ke Buena 104.5".
